SYNCHRONICITY & CO-CREATION

Carl Jung describes his theory of Synchronicity as the confluence of events that cannot be explained by cause and effect; events that have deep personal meaning.

This confluence of events unfolded the moment I turned a corner. Five feet from my path – a man fell off his bike groaning in pain. It has been quite some time since I’ve had the opportunity to help a person I’d never met – in need. Here it is:

It was a recent Friday. Planning to meet a neighborhood acquaintance for coffee, I choreographed my route to complete an errand on the way. Just as I turned up 8th Street from 6th Avenue I heard a clang, and then an agonizing cry. My attention riveted toward the drama. A man, perhaps in his early twenties, lay on the ground with a Citybike sprawled alongside him. Apparently, the brakes froze. Thankfully, he fell out of the way of oncoming traffic.
I asked how he was, if he was okay, and he said that his knee hurt. Owen grimaced in discomfort, his face displaying the pain. A man with a child on his shoulders showed concern. Passersby were noticing…

Owen sat on the sidewalk next to where I stood. He continued to wince in pain, telling me about his prior surgery on that very knee. Since I am a Reiki Master, I asked permission to place my hands on his left knee to calm the injury. Enthusiastically he gave his permission. As we both sat on the ground on 8th Street, I focused and intended energy – Reiki, Vortex (R) and IET (R) to flow through me to the wounded knee.

I asked Owen to join me, to collaborate by focusing his energy, to visualize an intact knee, and to relax the surgery site, to connect his heart energy to the affected spot. This is a powerful strategy.

Perfectly still, I held my hands on his left knee and felt movement – as if the cartilage, muscles and tendons were shifting. Owen felt the movement as well.

Afterwards, he told me about an exciting job possibility that he was manifesting. I suggested a powerful prayer – co-creation – to add to his prayer.

In co-creation we work with Creator as our partner to bring in our desired goal with an essential caveat: we surrender to Creator’s Will, knowing that we don’t have the full picture of what is in our best interest; we don’t know the Divine Plan! Owen listened intently.

As we parted and our eyes met, I felt a shared, energetic connection.

I was only a few minutes late for my coffee…

Let me share my way of Co-Creating as I believe this is the most powerful way to pray.

Co-Creating Protocol:

  1. There is something I want to bring into my life.
  2. The Prayer: Thank you Creator for _____. I visualize it. Feel it. Imagine it.
I say: ‘I realize that you have infinite knowledge. You are aware of my best interest. I surrender to your Will.’
  3. Then I say ‘Please remember what I want.’
  4. ‘Thank you so much!’
  5. I breathe in the energy of the request/prayer!

Do try this protocol and feel free to give me feedback! I look forward to hearing from you and learning from your experiences.
