Tony Bennett left his heart in San Francisco. My heart is found in two places, both New York and Sedona.
New York City is the place of my birth. My family and friends live here, and we have many celebrations. Diversity is huge in this city, as most ethnic groups are represented. Theater has many offerings and there are so many good restaurants. I have a lot of history in this town.
Sedona has been called one of the most beautiful places in the world. I fell in love with it in 2002, visiting on group retreats. The climate is mostly sunny, and the red rocks are spectacular. Vortexes are filled with energy that lifts meditation to higher levels.
I’ve cultivated wonderful relationships in Sedona, and I catch up with these friends when I visit, getting updates on our life’s choices.
I was challenged on this trip with major repairs to my home so that the house stucco is sealed, a new roof protects and a staircase is rebuilt. This is a healing in process – to manage the decisions I’ve had to make. I’m working with excellent contractors who will do the work, and I truly depend upon their expertise. This is a reminder of our connectedness; how we reach out to others for help.
I am further learning to take it slow, and to be grateful for my blessings.
Speak to you on March 28th
Warmly,
Linda
